Your journey through time will start at 6.30
pm in St. Mark´s Square, where you´ll go aboard a reserved boat
to sail along the Canal Grande to Palazzo Mocenigo, the former
residence of one of the most important families of the Venetian
patriciate, seven members of which became Doges between 1414
and 1778. Since 1985 Palazzo Mocenigo is the Museum of the History
of Fabrics and Costumes. At Palazzo Mocenigo you´ll be received
by Doge Alvise IV and his Court : he will introduce to you the
history and the secrets of his family with the support of the
refined and amazing art of silhouette. This all is "A reception
at Doge Mocenigo", a magic evening that, thanks game of involvement,
will revive emotions and pastimes of Venetians in ancient Repubblica
Serenissima. Afterwards will be offered a cocktail to you, with
tipical wines of ancient estate of Doge "Marca Trevigiana" and
hot venetian "cicheti e dolzeti". And don´t forget, before to
leave the Palace, your personal silhouette, so you´ll take with
you a touch of your evening in Palazzo Mocenigo.
